The Lightning Baseball 14U, AAU national champions at the 13U level in 2004, continued their superb play at the national level by finishing 4th in the AAU 14U National Championship Tournament held at the Cincinnati Reds spring training complex in Sarasota, FL.
The Lightning 14’s finished the week with a 7-3 record having played 8 of the Sweet 16 teams. Their 2 year record at the AAU National Level is an outstanding 16-4. The Lightning squad had 3 players recognized as ALL-TOURNAMENT players plus an Honorable Mention. They were;
