U13’s Name Coaching Staff for 2008

Lightning Baseball of New England is proud to announce the coaching staff for the 2008 season. Head Coach Rick Petersen will return to guide the 2008 team. He is one of the founders of the Lightning Baseball program and has been coaching in the program since 1994. Coach Petersen has a long and successful coaching history with Lightning and the TOP96 All Stars, as well as, serving the MLB San Diego Padres as an area scout. He will be joined by assistants Marc Duffy, Bryan Muenzner, and Jason Sport. Marc has coached the U13s for the past three seasons, he is a graduate of Bentley College where he played on the baseball team, an all star player at Bishop Fenwick, and a four year player in the Lightning Baseball program. Bryan will be entering his second season with Lightning, he has coaching experience in Gloucester and the Extra Innings Fall League, and has been an instructor at many of the area’s baseball facilities. Jason is also entering his second season with the Lightning, he has coaching experience in the Lynn Little League, and he has experience as a volunteer assistant with the Boston College baseball team.
